D2-Yangtze River Cableway – Three Gorges Museum – Bayi Road Snack Street – Jiefangbei – Shancheng Trail – Raffles City – Hongya Cave
• Itinerary
❶ Yangtze River Cableway
(includes a one-way ticket; this is a complimentary activity and is non-refundable if unused. In the event of maintenance, suspension of service, or excessive queues, the **Crown-Wig Escalator** will be substituted). As the first large-scale cross-river passenger cableway spanning the Yangtze, it is renowned as the city's "aerial bus." It has served as a filming location for famous productions such as *Zhou Yu's Train*, *Crazy Stone*, and *Chongqing Blues*, standing as a witness to the city's transformation. *Note: The Yangtze River Cableway is not included during public holidays; the Crown-Wig Escalator will serve as the alternative.*

❷ Three Gorges Museum
(guided commentary not included) to experience Chongqing's culture and the evolution of this "Mountain City" from its past to the present. *Note: If the museum is closed (e.g., on Mondays) or inaccessible due to special circumstances, we will arrange a visit to **E'ling Factory 2** or **Shibati** as a substitute.*

❸ Bayi Road Snack Street
to sample authentic Chongqing street food.
❹ Jiefangbei (Liberation Monument)
As one of Chongqing's landmarks, it is the only monument in China commemorating the victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, serving as a historical testament to that victory and the city's liberation. The intersection centered on Jiefangbei—including the surrounding Minquan Road, Zourong Road, and Bayi Road—forms the city's most bustling commercial district.

❺ Shancheng Trail (Mountain City Trail)
Built on rugged terrain, Chongqing features significant elevation differences between adjacent areas, necessitating a network of hillside paths and stairways for navigation. This trail is a National AAAA-rated tourist attraction, celebrated for its traditional Bayu-style architecture and distinctive local folk culture.

❻ Raffles City Chongqing
Situated directly facing the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, it occupies a prime, unrivaled location in the city. Its complex of eight high-rise towers forms the shape of billowing sails, symbolizing the spirit of Chongqing—forged over millennia—and representing the city's drive to "ride the wind and waves and set sail."
❼ Hongya Cave
(originally known as Hongya Gate, one of the ancient gates of Chongqing). Centered on the architectural style of traditional Bayu "stilt houses" (*diaojiaolou*), the complex employs mountain-terrain architectural techniques—such as tiered terracing, stilt structures, staggered layering, and cliff-side positioning—to organically integrate six major sectors: dining, entertainment, leisure, wellness, hospitality, and culturally distinctive shopping. This creates a unique "multi-level aerial pedestrian street," establishing a textured, multi-layered urban attraction and commercial hub.

D3- Zoo – Ciqikou – Zhazidong – Liziba Light Rail "Train-Through-Building" Viewing Platform – Danzishi Old Street – Complimentary "Extreme Happiness Show" at Chongqing Circus City

❶ Chongqing Zoo
Established in 1954 and covering 45 hectares, this is one of China's large-scale zoos. Set amidst rolling hills with fresh, beautiful natural scenery, it houses over 230 species and more than 4,000 animals. It welcomes nearly 2 million visitors annually—including 100,000 international guests—ranking among the country's major urban zoos.

❷ Ciqikou Ancient Town
(recommended duration: 90 minutes): Stroll along quaint bluestone-paved streets, browse a dazzling array of unique local goods, and savor authentic Chongqing snacks. Known by the saying "One stone-paved road, a thousand years of Ciqikou," it was once a bustling hub—famed for "thousands of people greeting each other by day and ten thousand lanterns glowing by night"—and was hailed as "Little Chongqing." It is the perfect place to relive the nostalgia of old Chongqing.
❸ Red Tourism" site **Zhazidong Prison**
Now a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level and a base for patriotic education, this location held over 200 revolutionary martyrs—including Jiang Zhujun, Xu Jianye, "Little Radish Head" (Xiao Luobo Tou), and the patriotic General Yang Hucheng—who ultimately sacrificed their lives here. It served as the setting for the famous novel *Red Crag* and was the site of the shocking "November 27 Massacre."

❹ Liziba Light Rail Passing Through a Building
The Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum—also known as the Chongqing Museum—uses 100,000 artifacts to distill the grandeur of the Yangtze River and the resilience of the human spirit into a dialogue spanning millennia, while recounting the epic migration of over a million people through vintage photographs, relocation tools, and tear-stained family letters.

❺ Exterior View [The Temple of Heaven on the Ridge—Chongqing Great Hall of the People]:
Located at No. 173 Renmin Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, the Chongqing People's Auditorium—construction of which began in June 1951 and concluded in April 1954—is a complex of buildings designed in a traditional Chinese style. Recognized as one of Chongqing's "Top Ten Cultural Symbols" and a landmark of the city, it stands as a masterpiece that ingeniously blends traditional Chinese palatial architecture with Western large-span structural engineering.

❶ Dream Suspended in Mid-Air—Yangtze River Cableway (at own expense: 30 RMB/person):
At some point, the Yangtze River Cableway became a must-visit attraction for tourists in the "Mountain City." As the cable car traverses the Yangtze, one’s gaze shifts between the shimmering river waters below and the nearby "forest of steel and concrete," offering endless scenic beauty and poetic charm. The line, "You stand on the cableway admiring the scenery, while those admiring the scenery watch you from afar," perfectly captures the allure of the Yangtze River Cableway. It is precisely this appeal that has made the location a favorite choice for film and television productions in Chongqing, including movies such as *Zhou Yu's Train* (2001), *Crazy Stone* (2006), *Curiosity Kills the Cat* (2006), and *The Door* (2007), as well as the variety show *Go Fighting!*
